Funding Opportunities for Small Business Owners in the TCF Industry

In 2009/10 the Australian Government, through AusIndustry, will again run a program of assistance to small businesses in the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Industry.

This program is designed to assist small business operators to grow their current business through enabling them to access funding that will develop and implement strategies that improve the business culture of the existing business.

This means that Ausindustry will provide funding for:

• employing professional, experienced consultants
• computer aided design
• accounting systems
• marketing and export opportunities
• other resources

The program will look at projects up to $50,000 that meet the above criteria, can be completed over the next twelve months and have previously not received funding under other TCF assistance programs (TCF SIP and Post 2005 SIP).
